Legal Project Manager

£55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

A leading international law firm with a strong focus on innovation and client service is seeking a Legal Project Manager to join its Client Solutions team. The role supports the delivery of legal services through structured project management, improving efficiency, transparency, and value for clients. The team operates across the UK and Europe, combining legal expertise with technology and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Project Manager

  • Manage complex legal matters
    • Support the delivery of legal work across transactions, disputes, and multi-jurisdictional projects, ensuring structure and consistency in approach.
    • Work closely with legal teams to coordinate activities and maintain delivery standards.
  • Define scope and planning
    • Establish clear scopes, deliverables, and success criteria for each matter.
    • Develop budgets, timelines, and resource plans to support effective execution.
  • Implement governance frameworks
    • Create communication plans, risk registers, and reporting structures to ensure transparency and control.
    • Monitor progress and escalate risks or issues where necessary.
  • Track performance and profitability
    • Oversee budgeting, fee tracking, and margin analysis to provide insight into matter performance.
    • Use data to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
  • Support client and business development
    • Contribute to pitches, RFPs, and client meetings by articulating project delivery approaches.
    • Develop client-facing materials and incorporate feedback to enhance service delivery.
