We are looking to recruit a Legal Manager to join our busy Legal department. The role will see you provide project management, process implementation and administrative support to the General Counsel and Legal Department of Miller Homes stakeholders. You will play a key role in managing complaints, disputes and litigation matters helping the team deliver an excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide effective operational and administrative support for the group legal team.
  • Lead the management of escalated complaints, contentious matters and litigation ensuring that all disputes and escalated issues are handled effectively, efficiently and in alignment with Miller Homes’ values and legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external advisers, ombudsman services and regulatory bodies where required.
  • Draft complaint responses, settlement agreements and other legal documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a legal, paralegal, Customer Service Management or Administrative Management environment
  • Ability to analyse and interrogate data and correct errors
  • Confident working with, and ability to influence stakeholders
