Legal Receptionist – Martock Office (Somerset)
Salary: £23,500 per annum
Join a growing regional law firm in Somerset as a Legal Receptionist supporting their Martock office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, client-focused professional who thrives in a customer-service-driven environment.
This role acts as the face and voice of the business, ensuring exceptional experiences for clients, visitors, and colleagues while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-of-house service: Meet and greet clients and visitors, delivering a professional and welcoming reception experience
- Administering communications:
- Manage incoming calls, handle inquiries, take messages, and arrange appointments
- Support telephone cover across other offices when required
- Office and meeting coordination:
- Coordinate meeting rooms, ensuring facilities are prepared and maintained to a high standard
- Oversee video conferencing and meeting room technology
- Document and post management:
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, scanning, and document distribution
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Office operations:
- Ensure the office is presented, organised, and business-ready daily
- Order stationery, refreshments, and supplies, monitoring stock levels
- Support health and safety administration and log maintenance issues
- Administration support:
- Assist with file management, archive administration, and document scanning
- Organise office events, staff inductions, and branch communications
- Miscellaneous duties: -undertake additional administrative tasks to support the firm

Requirements
- Experience: Previous role in receptionist, client services, customer service, or office administration
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a professional, approachable manner
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
