Legal Receptionist/Office Manager

Job Summary

We’re seeking a professional and organised Legal Receptionist & Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their legal career — such as a law student or recent graduate — or for an experienced administrator looking to apply their skills in a legal environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring an efficient, welcoming, and well-organised office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors, providing professional front-of-house service.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, appointments, and calendars for solicitors and legal staff.
  • Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence and legal documents.
  • Open, maintain, and organise client files (both electronic and paper-based).
  • Assist with billing, record-keeping, and client onboarding procedures.
  • Handle mail, deliveries, and general office correspondence.
  • Support solicitors and the wider team with administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a tidy, organised office environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
