We do law differently at Orwins.
Less formal, more focused – and right now we are looking for an experienced Property Secretary to join our busy property team in Finchley.
This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of a top-tier, fast-moving team handling residential conveyancing, commercial property and secured lending. You will be supporting a talented group of fee earners – keeping matters moving, managing post completion, handling Land Registry submissions and making sure clients feel in safe hands throughout.
Providing full secretarial and administrative support to the property team handling a mixture of residential property, commercial property and property finance related tasks, drafting and preparing conveyancing documents, managing Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions via Infotrack, handling post completion formalities, ordering searches and keeping client files accurate and up to date. No two days are the same.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
