⚖️ Legal Secretary – Property Department 📍 Nantwich, Cheshire 💰 Up to £24,500 FTE + Benefits 🕒 Full-time OR Part-time

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial law firm known for providing practical, client-focused legal advice to both businesses and private clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a friendly and supportive Property team. Candidates with experience in other areas of law will also be considered, provided they have relevant property experience.

The Role

You'll provide secretarial and administrative support to Property fee earners, helping ensure the smooth running of matters while delivering an excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full secretarial support to Property fee earners
  • Audio typing using digital dictation
  • Preparing, formatting and managing legal documents and correspondence
  • Updating and maintaining case management systems
  • General administration including filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, the Land Registry and other solicitors
  • Providing occasional reception cover when required
  • Prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines in a busy environment

About You

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Property Secretary, Property Legal Secretary or similar
  • Experience supporting either Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing matters
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
