Opportunity for a Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant
An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant to join a specialist law firm providing expert legal services in criminal and family law delivering practical, client-focused legal advice and strong representation tailored to each client's needs.
As a Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant, you will provide professional secretarial support, manage legal documentation, and assist fee earners to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
This permanent role offers a salary range of GBP 25,000 - GBP 27,000 and benefits. We are seeking two candidates, 1x Full-time and 1x Part-time.
Candidate must live within commutable distance (within 30 minutes) from the office.

What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant, Legal Clerk, or in a similar role.
- Have 1 year of legal secretarial experience or a relevant legal secretarial qualification.
- Experienced in audio transcription.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience in criminal law.
- Experience in family law.
