Experienced Legal Secretary – Part-Time Opportunity (3 Days)
About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week (minimum 22.5 hours).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive, professional environment, where attention to detail, strong client service, and administrative precision are essential.
The role involves a variety of clients-oriented tasks, including:
- Wills & estate planning
- Probate & estate administration
- Powers of attorney
- Trust management
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors in the Private Client department
- Prepare, format, and amend legal documents, including:
- Wills
- Powers of Attorney
- Trust deeds
- Manage correspondence, telephone calls, and diaries efficiently
- Liaise directly with clients and third parties in a confidential, professional, and client-focused manner
- Assist with:
- File management
- Billing processes
- Compliance work

Requirements
✅ Previous secretarial experience (preferably in Legal Services, ideally in Private Client) ✅ Strong typing skills (minimum 50wpm) with excellent accuracy and attention to detail ✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus experience with case management systems ✅ Strong communication & organisational skills ✅ Friendly, professional, and committed to client care ✅ Personal pride in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
