Float Legal Secretary 📍 Spalding 💼 Full-time | Permanent 💰 £25,000 - £31,000
The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen to join as a Float Legal Secretary based in the Spalding office. This varied role offers the chance to support multiple departments across the firm, making it ideal for an organised and adaptable secretary or administrator who enjoys a diverse workload. Previous secretarial or administrative experience is essential. Whilst experience within a legal environment would be advantageous, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support across a variety of legal departments.
- Prepare, format and amend legal documents, correspondence and reports.
- Manage diaries, appointments and meetings for fee earners.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Open, maintain and close client files in line with firm procedures.
- Assist with digital filing, document management, scanning and general office administration.
- Support billing, file management and other administrative tasks as required.
- Adapt quickly to different teams, priorities and workloads.
- Deliver excellent client service while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

About You We're looking for someone who is highly organised, flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment. You will have:
- Previous secretarial or administrative experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to manage changing priorities and work across multiple teams.
- A positive, proactive and adaptable approach.
- Legal experience is beneficial but not essential.
