Legal Secretary : Residential Conveyancing
Legal Secretary : Residential Conveyancing (London) – Circa £27,000 DOE
Join a respected law firm offering a supportive working environment, ongoing training, and the opportunity to become an integral part of a busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Legal Secretary looking to develop their career within a well-established legal practice.
Job Ref: 4462
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of legal documentation, including:
- Correspondence
- Deeds
- Lease extensions
- Completion statements
- Land Registry forms
- Provide accurate audio typing and document production
- Support with opening and closing client files, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard
- Monitor incoming post and emails, responding to routine client enquiries
- Assist with billing procedures, including:
- Requesting cheques
- Arranging bank transfers
- Maintain excellent levels of client service

Requirements & Skills
- Experience preferred in Legal Secretaries or Legal Assistants, ideally with previous experience in:
- Residential Conveyancing
- Property departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with the Land Registry Portal
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to:
- Prioritise a busy workload efficiently
- Remain calm under pressure
- Maintain a professional and client-focused approach
