Job Description: Legal Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Specialist based in United Kingdom.
As a Legal Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting international business operations by providing strategic legal guidance across intellectual property, commercial contracts, compliance, and corporate matters. Working in a dynamic, technology-driven environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal risks while enabling business growth. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex international legal matters, protect valuable digital assets, and contribute to regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Accountabilities
- Manage intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright registrations across multiple jurisdictions (such as the EU, US, and international filings), and oversee infringement actions through cease-and-desist notices, DMCA requests, and platform complaints.
- Administer domain portfolios and digital assets, including due diligence, registrations, renewals, transfers, monitoring potential infringements, and coordinating with external intellectual property agents.
- Represent the business in domain name disputes, including proceedings under UDRP and URS frameworks, while preparing legal documentation and coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing agreements, NDAs, SaaS contracts, API integration agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and publisher agreements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in areas such as iGaming, FinTech, eCommerce, data protection (including GDPR and CCPA), and cookie compliance requirements.
- Support and maintain the corporate structure of international group entities while providing legal advice on cross-border corporate matters.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a legal role with exposure to commercial and intellectual property law.
- Proven ability to independently draft complex legal agreements from scratch without relying solely on templates.
- Strong knowledge of foreign legal systems, including legal research, statutory interpretation, and case law analysis.
- Excellent ability to communicate legal risks and recommendations clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple legal matters simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks before they arise.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal protection and business objectives.
- Experience structuring agreements to minimize intellectual property risks.
- Experience with LegalTech tools is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience within the iGaming, FinTech, or eCommerce industries is a plus.
