The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join us as a Legal Support Assistant (LSA), providing high-quality support being part of a busy team, interacting daily with EAs/PAs and fee earners while having the ability to prioritize workloads and liaise with other support functions to ensure timely delivery.
All LSAs work as part of a team with shared responsibilities and exposure to practice-specific tasks depending on department, including litigation, regulatory, or transactional support activities.
Core Hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
Main Responsibilities
- Working across a variety of tasks and responsibilities including;
- Document management – preparing transcripts from recorded meetings or calls, drafting, formatting, comparing, amending emails/documents/attendance notes, and filing when required.
- Photocopying, printing, and scanning, with delivery/collection of larger volumes via Document Services Team, and arranging couriers.
- Undertaking conflict searches, and further legal/factual research using the internet, databases, etc.
- Collating, indexing, and structuring of both physical and/or electronic legal documents, such as supporting the preparation of case bundles and documentation for hearings, investigations, and regulatory submissions.
- Assisting with file opening and archiving, to include scheduling documents/deeds and sending to storage.
- Maintaining the stationery supplies and ensuring the areas are kept tidy.
- Finance-related admin – assisting with inputting expenses on Chrome River, dealing with all forms of payment requests and Elite 3E queries.
- Booking departmental and other internal meetings.
- Downloading/uploading data room documents and saving to appropriate files/locations.
- Submitting full property searches on Land Registry and other third-party applications, keeping the fee earner up to date on search results received, and managing outstanding search results.
- Requesting and storing Wills and other similar documents from/onto Willbase.
- Liaising with third parties to obtain documentation, including Probate Registry, HMCTs, and other institutions where required.
- Handling incoming case materials from clients/third parties.
- Assisting with any other department ad hoc duties, such as business development tasks.

About You
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize your workload in a deadline-driven environment, remaining calm and focused.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with individuals of all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft and other commonly used software.
- Being a supportive team player with an ability to use your initiative to develop solutions.
- Strong administration skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, can-do approach to tasks and situations.
- Understanding of client confidentiality, with the ability to display discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
