Senior Legal Talent Partner

The Role
The Core Responsibility
We’re seeking a Legal Talent Partner, who will drive recruitment, evaporation, and scaling of essential specialist roles within Orbital. Over the next 12 months, there's a pipeline of 15+ legal engineering and solutions architect roles to focus centralised around hiring.
What You’ll Deliver
**Responsibility for hiring **:
- Co-ordinate the entire recruitment process for Legal Engineers and Legal Solutions Architects.
- Collaborate with Product, Growth (GTM), and leadership to outline ideals for each role.
- Embed engaging, efficient, and thorough processes to assess candidates.
Bring a niche credibility to the table:
- Communicate effectively in the legal realm with special attention to real estate law experienced candidates.
- Establish Orbital’s position as a foremost source for innovators and specialists, reinforcing our reputation.
Define and cultivate recruitments:
- Showcase Orbital as the linchpin for lawyers seeking rewarding, deliberate, and non-practicing paths in AI and legal tech.
- Promote a clear vision, and the successful transition from private practice or in-house roles into legal operations/tech.

- Supply market intelligence, tracking potential candidates, their expectations, compensation offerings, and recruiting activities of competitors.
- Ensure confident, informed hiring decisions leveraging both operational data and intuition.
Who We're After
This is scrawny perfection: we’re on the lookout for those candidates who possess a fluctuating array of skills.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven recruiting experience: demonstrated history of recruiting lawyers—whether independently, internally, or within legal tech.

- Balancing speed and rigor: The ability to operate then within fast-moving, high-growth environments.
- Storytelling skills: ability to succinctly explain why join Orbital and how this shift aligns with their professional development.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience hiring for legal-tech specific focuses such as legal engineering, legal operations, product adjacent legal roles.
- Thorough grasp of US state bar regulations and/or UK licensing frameworks and the real estate legal landscape.
- Proven experience in hiring multinational teams or scaling through once startup fundraising stages.
