Legal Tech Analyst (Entry Level)
Junior eDiscovery Analyst

The eDiscovery team at DWF is seeking a junior eDiscovery Analyst to join an established and agile in-house eDiscovery team.
This role provides an exciting entry point into the eDiscovery sector within a dynamic law firm environment, offering direct involvement in complex, high-profile eDiscovery matters. You’ll gain practical experience while supporting nationally and internationally significant cases.
The position is open to:
- Graduates with a technology background and strong aptitude
- Individuals already possessing eDiscovery experience

- Hybrid working flexibility (2 days per week at our Manchester office)
Responsibilities
- Deliver consultative eDiscovery support to clients
- Provide project support across multiple concurrent matters with varying complexity, scale, and geographic scope
- Ensure successful delivery of eDiscovery solutions, including:
- Data preservation
- Collection
- Processing
- Offer technical support to clients, including troubleshooting challenges and developing effective solutions
- Conduct advanced searches across large electronic datasets to support investigations and reviews
- Identify opportunities to optimise datasets and reduce data volumes
- Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows for document review and analysis
- Conduct review quality control checks to guarantee accuracy and consistency
- Apply a range of legal technology solutions to address client challenges and enhance processes

Key Success Factors
Essential Requirements
- Degree in:
- Digital Forensics
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Data Analytics
- or a related technical field
- Legal/legal technology background with a passion for technology and data
- Strong analytical skills to work with massive datasets and detect patterns or inconsistencies
- Genuine interest in technology and data management
- Acute attention to detail for high-precision work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
