Location: Mobile - Midlands
Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
The Legionella Risk Assessor Shall
- Undertake site surveys for the production of Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with; ACoP L8, HSG 274, HTM:04 01, Water Regulations, BS 8580.
- Generate associated detailed end reports including recommendations for remedial action, site specific control schemes, management plans and schematic drawings.
- Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients.
- Assist on our Water Hygiene related tasks i.e. monitoring and maintenance as and when necessary using an electronic software package.
- The role will be based in the Midlands working on a large multi-site contracts and is field based, therefore you must be prepared to travel throughout the region and UK as required.
- The inspections will be undertaken using a tablet computer electronic survey tool.

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrate 2 years’ previous relevant experience in a similar role.
- City & Guilds / BOHS P901 or similar third party accredited Legionella control training.
- Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of Water Hygiene services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in IT applications including the use of electronic survey tablet
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations).
- Current full UK Driving License.

Desirable Criteria
- Demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity, working to strict quality control systems and operational procedures.
- Demonstrate experience of mechanical maintenance & repairs works e.g. plumbing/engineering.
