As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team in the Midlands, helping clients manage risk, achieve compliance and maintain safe water systems.

Job details
This role is central to the day-to-day success of the business and contributes directly to operational performance and customer outcomes. As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out Legionella risk assessments across a varied client portfolio, identifying risks, providing practical recommendations and supporting clients in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making a tangible impact on water safety.
What You Will Do
Carry out Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance. Inspect hot and cold water systems across a range of commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial sites. Produce detailed risk assessment reports and provide clear recommendations to clients. Identify compliance issues and advise on appropriate remedial actions. Maintain accurate site records and technical documentation. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients. Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholder Contribute to continuous improvement, compliance and quality standards.
Who You Are
You are an experienced and motivated professional who brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset. You will ideally have:
Previous experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments. A sound understanding of ACOP L8, HSG274 and water hygiene compliance requirements. Relevant Legionella Risk Assessment qualifications Strong report writing and communication skills. The ability to manage your own workload and work independently. A full UK driving licence. A high level of attention to detail and accountability. The ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment. A collaborative approach and a commitment to doing things the right way.
