Location: East Midlands – National travel will be required.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.

A leading environmental management consultancy, Franks Portlock provides a range of water hygiene and treatment services. Our water hygiene services help maintain safe water systems within any premises you own or occupy, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, enabling you to be fully compliant with the requirements of HSE’s L8 ACOP.
We are UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 with offices based in London, Midlands, the North East and North West of England and Rosyth.
Due to the continuous expansion of the Water Hygiene division within Franks Portlock Consulting Ltd, a vacancy has become available.

The Role
The role will be undertaking:
- Legionella Risk Assessments of hot and cold water services, mainly dealing with the requirements within the ACoP L8, HSG 274, BS 8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01
- Communicating at all levels as you will be customer facing for the majority of your time
- Covering a nationwide area so willing to travel and stay away from home as and when required

As a Legionella Risk Assessor you will:
- Have strong IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate reporting skills
- Undertake physically demanding work with access restrictions and heavy lifting involved (confined space training will be given)
Essential Experience
- Legionella Risk Assessing hot and cold water systems
- Understanding the requirements of Health Care properties
- Producing CAD drawings using AutoCAD
- Understanding Water Regulations
- Understanding G3 Building regulations
Experience Desired But Not Essential
