Leisure Club Attendant
Glasgow Argyle Hotel, Signature Collection by Best Western
The Opportunity
We are looking for a friendly, approachable and reliable Leisure Club Attendant to join our team. This role is central to creating a welcoming, safe and well-organised leisure environment where members feel comfortable, confident and supported.
Taking a Human Givens approach, you’ll help meet people’s core needs for safety, belonging, reassurance and enjoyment, ensuring every member’s visit is a positive experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Ensuring the leisure club facilities are clean, tidy and well maintained at all times
- Setting up and clearing away equipment for fitness classes and leisure activities efficiently and safely
- Assisting members with gym and leisure equipment, ensuring correct and safe use
- Providing warm, attentive and professional customer service to all members and guests
- Supporting the sale of memberships and leisure services by communicating benefits clearly and positively
- Following health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for members and colleagues
- Identifying and reporting any faults, maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Leisure Club Manager
- Supporting the opening and closing of the leisure club as required
- Completing required records and paperwork accurately and on time
