Responsibilities
Here's what your journey with us entails:
The Leisure Club Associate Cleaner is responsible for the general hygiene and cleanliness of the Leisure complex that need to meet the Marriott standards. The Leisure Club Associate Cleaner is also responsible to provide a service to the highest achievable standard to all guests and members using the Leisure Club by keeping a professional and welcoming attitude at all times.

Previous experience in a similar role and style of operation preferred but not essential

SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
- To follow opening and closing procedures.
- To supervise the running of the pool and all leisure facilities ensuring customers are welcomed and appropriately cared for in accordance with the hotel standard.
- To be responsible for the general hygiene and cleanliness in the leisure complex, ensuring all statutory and company regulations are adhered to.
- To ensure all equipment and facilities are always kept to the required standard and that the Leisure Club rules are strictly adhered to at all times.
- To ensure that towels and toiletries in the changing room and showers are continuously replenished and kept neat and clean at all times.
- To ensure that an ongoing statistical report is maintained, compiled on a shift basis from the visitors book in order to work out business trends for staffing levels.
- To ensure that the Leisure Complex is staffed to meet the needs of the business.
- To be conversant with all plant and machinery in relation to: Plant Room, Lockers, Steam Room, and Gymnasium.
- Small items of maintenance to be reported to the maintenance department by the log procedure on a daily basis.
- To carry out duties in accordance with the company Health & Safety policy and all fire procedures.
- To be responsible for stocks within the Leisure complex.
- To be fully aware of the Accident Reporting Procedure, Maintenance Fault Reporting Procedure, Fire Policy.
- To ensure that service areas are clean and tidy at all times, meeting the brand standard guidelines
- To carry out other duties as may be required to ensure the Hotel Operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction.
- To attend all Marriott training sessions including all legislative training or additional training provided by the hotel and departmental meetings as required
- To adhere to the Marriott uniform standards at all times
- To have a full and thorough knowledge of Marriott standards and departmental standard operating procedures and be able to demonstrate this by behaving in accordance with them
- To have a good knowledge of hotel facilities, amenities and opening times

- Report work related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor
- Attend to or report any defects or Health & Safety matters brought to your attention
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety laws specifications, both legislative and Marriott
