Leisure Facilities Coordinator / Club Manager Role
Location: Crowne Plaza, Chester
Salary: £33,618.54 per annum or £16.16 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week

About the Role
In this Leisure Facilities / Club Manager role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the General Manager with:
- Health and Safety – ensuring smooth operation of the Leisure Facilities
- Strategic Direction – helping to shape and drive membership sales to grow the business
- Team Motivation – coaching the team to meet targets and enhance performance
- Member Engagement – keeping memberships active and entertained with regular activities
Being an open 7 days, 365 days a year operation, flexibility is key. While busier evening and weekend shifts are common, shift patterns can be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in Strategic Planning—helping to drive and shape the club’s direction.
- Develop and execute membership growth strategies, increasing sales and retention.
- Motivate and coach the team to achieve performance targets and foster a positive work culture.
- Engage members through interactive activities, events, and tailored programming.
- Maintain high standards in Health and Safety across leisure facilities.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and efficient use of resources.
- Offer a great customer experience to all members.

Requirements
- Passion for Leisure Management – Enthusiasm for sports, entertainment, and member engagement.
- Team Leadership – Ability to inspire, support, and coach a team to reach targets.
- Customer-Focused Mindset – Experience in delivering exceptional member service.
- Flexibility – Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic Business Acumen – Understanding of sales strategies and customer retention.
- Positive Attitude – Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-service environment.
