Leisure Operations Receptionist

Location: Alton Towers Resort

Hours/Availability: Applicants must be available to work 5 days out of 7, including at least 1 weekend day.

Join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK’s only attraction specialising in making Britain happy! We are recruiting for a Leisure Operations Receptionist to join our team in the hotels.


About the Role

To ensure guests leave smiles on their faces long after they leave, you'll be the very first face they see before entering our stunning waterpark or golf attractions.

This crucial customer-facing role puts you within the Gateway to Enjoyment, where the legacy of their experience with us starts. You'll be the upside of any guest issues, handling cash and keys, and making sure guest needs are met accurately by the correct team. Collaboration is key because their first and last impression means everything.

  • Provide an outstanding first impression by delivering warm and welcoming service
  • Own guest issues and resolve them to guarantee satisfaction
  • Handle cash and key securely
  • Relay essential guest information to appropriate departments confidently and accurately
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to work 5 days out of 7, including at least 1 weekend day
  • A positive, energetic, and welcoming approach—elevate every interaction!
  • Exceptional customer service mindset with a genuine passion for delivering great experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with positive energy
  • Previous reception experience, especially in a busy setting, is desirable

Pay Range

Compensation ranges between £8.00/Hour - £12.71/Hour.
