My client, a growing and highly respected Commercial Finance Brokerage, is looking to recruit a Lender Relationship Co-ordinator to join their team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial finance, banking, lending, or financial services who enjoys building relationships and working closely with a panel of lenders to support deal flow and client outcomes.

The Role

Working as a key part of the brokerage team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with lending partners, ensuring strong collaboration, service delivery, and access to a broad range of funding solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with a portfolio of lending partners across a range of funding products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for lender enquiries, operational issues, and strategic discussions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with lenders to assess performance, deal volumes, service levels, and overall satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop new lender partnerships to strengthen and expand the lender panel, ensuring any product gaps are effectively addressed.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and service level agreements with lending partners.
  • Resolve lender complaints, queries, and escalations professionally and efficiently.
  • Work closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to support the placement and progression of funding opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with lender contacts and stay up to date with lending criteria, product changes, and market developments.
  • Support the onboarding of new lender relationships and ensure all lender information is accurately maintained.
  • Produce reporting and market intelligence to support business development and relationship management activities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business, ensuring positive and productive relationships are maintained across the lender panel.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
