We're looking for an Account Manager – Lens Care, UK Grocery Channel to join us in Birmingham (office-based), serving the UK Grocery Channel, with regular travel to key grocery customers and ZEISS stakeholders across the UK.

Your Role
The purpose of this role is to scale ZEISS Lens Care within the UK Grocery Channel by significantly growing business with 11 major grocery accounts and winning new distribution in up to 55 additional target retailers, delivering compelling commercial proposals that meet both retailer and ZEISS financial and consumer objectives.
The role of Account Manager – Lens Care, UK Grocery Channel will involve:
- Significantly growing business with 11 major UK grocery accounts by understanding their ambitions and building customer-centric proposals supported by compelling financials and consumer insight.
- Modelling financial growth and investment plans in spreadsheets to achieve revenue and profit targets that are attractive to retailers and internal stakeholders.
- Leading cross-functional teams across local marketing, finance, supply chain and global lens care to ensure activation plans go live on time and in full.
- Maintaining and developing a strong network of contacts within existing and target grocery accounts to build insight, strengthen influence and help ZEISS grow and win new business.
- Working with marketing to develop creative contact strategies and campaigns that secure meetings and engagement with key contacts at target retailers (for example, "ZEISS sweeps the board this awards season"), while keeping internal stakeholders informed.
- Evolving and strengthening the current new business proposition to maximise influence, secure distribution wins and support ZEISS's 2030 growth ambition in Lens Care.

Your Experience
- Proven experience developing business with a minimum of two UK grocery retailers.
- Demonstrable track record of winning new accounts and/or new business within the UK grocery channel or a similar FMCG or consumer environment.
- Strong ability to create professional, high-quality customer presentations and model commercial scenarios and financials in spreadsheets.
- A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers and ZEISS offices as required.

Role Details
Location and Working Conditions
- Office-based in Birmingham within the ZEISS Vision Care UK Commercial Team.
- Permanent, full-time contract, 37.5 hours per week.
- Reporting line: Associate Director – KAM Channel.
- Regular travel to UK grocery customers and relevant ZEISS locations as required.
