As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Letting Valuer to join us in Guildford, Surrey.
The Role
The Letting Valuer will play a pivotal role in the success of our lettings department. This position involves assessing rental values, managing landlord and tenant relationships, and contributing to the growth of our lettings portfolio. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a keen understanding of the local property market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property valuations to determine competitive and accurate rental prices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Prepare and present detailed rental reports and market appraisals.
- Negotiate tenancy agreements and renewals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Work closely with the sales and lettings teams to maximise property portfolio performance.
- Attend viewings and accompany prospective tenants, providing expert advice and support.
- Keep up to date with local market trends, competitor activity, and changes in legislation affecting lettings.
- Contribute to the achievement of team and company targets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a lettings or estate agency role is highly desirable.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of the Guildford property market and lettings legislation.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management) are advantageous but not essential.
