Lettings Assistant
Cambridge
Circa £26,000 per annum
3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with potential to be extended)
Looking to gain valuable experience in residential property? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent property company in Cambridge, who are looking for a Lettings & Property Management Assistant to join their team on an initial three-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within residential property, gaining hands-on experience across both lettings and property management. The role offers plenty of variety, combining office-based administration with property inspections and viewings, and there is potential for the contract to be extended.
The Role
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll support the day-to-day running of the lettings and property management department, ensuring landlords and tenants receive an excellent level of service.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting accompanied property viewings.
- Carrying out routine property inspections and preparing reports.
- Supporting the management of a residential property portfolio.
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs.
- Assisting with tenancy administration.
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email.
- Maintaining accurate property records and updating internal systems.
- Providing general administrative support to the team.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in lettings, estate agency, property management, or a customer-facing role.
- Enjoys meeting people and providing excellent customer service.
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload.
- Has good IT skills and attention to detail.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
