Adenuga Properties is a London and Manchester-based property investment and asset management company providing acquisition, sourcing, and management services to clients across the UK. The company has strong expertise in regional markets across the North East and North West of England, successfully sourcing properties in areas such as Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire. Adenuga Properties works primarily with London-based investors seeking attractive regional opportunities, with many achieving double-digit gross rental yields. In addition to sourcing, the company owns and manages a growing residential portfolio across multiple UK regions, including London and Essex.

Role Description

The Lettings Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role supports the day-to-day management of residential properties, including:

  • Coordinating viewings
  • Handling tenant enquiries
  • Assisting with the application and referencing process

The Lettings Assistant helps prepare marketing materials for available properties, updates listings, and maintains accurate records in property management systems. The role also involves:

  • Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Arranging inspections, repairs, and check-ins/check-outs
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant lettings regulations and company policies

The Lettings Assistant contributes to delivering a professional, responsive service to investors and tenants, supporting the wider property management and sourcing activities of Adenuga Properties.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with landlords, tenants, and colleagues.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple property viewings, enquiries, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, record keeping, and data entry within property management systems.
  • Customer service experience, ideally within property, hospitality, retail, or another client-facing environment.
  • Basic understanding of residential lettings processes and UK property rental regulations, or willingness to learn.
  • Comfort using email, spreadsheets, and property or CRM software; ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in Newcastle upon Tyne and occasionally travel locally for viewings, inspections, or meetings.
  • Proactive, reliable, and professional approach, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Previous experience in lettings, estate agency, or property management is beneficial but not essential.
  • A Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
