Lettings Manager – haart Estate Agents, Slough

- Basic salary of £20,000–£32,000 (dependent on experience)

A Day in the Life
- Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team
- Coaching the team to achieve KPI’s and setting targets
- Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (including one-to-one meetings)
- Encouraging team development and progression
- Generating new and repeat business
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
- Liaising with tenants and arranging property viewings
- Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
- Ensuring the business remains risk-averse, with compliance aligned to all regulatory standards

Essential Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK Driving Licence (for a manual vehicle)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator level or higher
Skills & Competencies
- Works effectively in a team, fostering a positive working environment
- Excellent communicator – builds trusting relationships with:
- Customers
- Suppliers
- Communities
- Colleagues
- Ability to create and execute relevant business plans for the branch
- Strong understanding of monitoring and assessing regional competitor performance
- Deep knowledge of current residential lettings legislation
- Manage high-volume, time-sensitive workloads
- Demonstrable record of outstanding customer service
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong telephone manner
- Basic Microsoft package proficiency (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Attention to detail
Additional Requirements for Interviews
To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you must:
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
- Have legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
We will require evidence of:
- Passport/Birth Certificate (to confirm right to work in the UK)
- Proof of Address
- National Insurance number
- Driving Licence verification
