About Us
LDM Properties (UK) Limited is a leading residential letting and management company, specialising in luxury apartment management across central London. With offices in London and Birmingham, we connect premium properties with international tenants, providing high-end service to both landlords and tenants.
Our Birmingham office is home to the management team, working 9am–5:30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available during peak season. The office also has a gym, a bouldering room, and regular events in the wider communal space.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Lettings Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of 70+ residential properties (part of our wider 150-property Birmingham portfolio, split between two managers). This is a varied and rewarding role combining tenancy management, property marketing, and legal compliance. You'll work closely with our Directors and Senior Managers, and collaborate daily with our international team and client base.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a residential portfolio of 70+ properties from start to finish
- Negotiate tenancy renewals and close deals
- Liaise with landlords and tenants professionally and promptly
- Prepare tenancy contracts and complete tenant referencing
- Handle deposit registrations, returns, and dispute resolution (DPS)
- Oversee inventories, check-outs, and mid-term inspections
- Manage the entire tenancy lifecycle, from offer through to deposit deductions
- Manage utility bills, void period charges, service charges, and ground rents
- Issue legal notices (Section 8) where required
- Coordinate property maintenance with contractors and landlords
- Ensure full compliance with UK lettings legislation and internal policies
- Communicate regularly with our international client base, including via WeChat

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in residential property management
- Strong working knowledge of UK lettings legislation and best practice
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- A proactive approach and strong personal initiative
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident with property management software and Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural team
Pay & Benefits
- £30,000 per year, plus commission pay

Requirements
- Education: A-Level or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years in property management (required)
- Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
