Role Description
The Lettings Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sidmouth. The Lettings Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the lettings department, including managing property listings, coordinating viewings, and handling tenancy applications. This role involves liaising with landlords and tenants, preparing tenancy agreements, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. The Lettings Manager is responsible for conducting regular property inspections, managing rent collection processes, and addressing maintenance issues through coordination with contractors. The position also includes setting and reviewing rental values, contributing to marketing activities, supporting the wider estate agency team, and maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure efficient operations.

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and practical experience in Lettings and Estate Agents operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Property Management and handling Landlord/Tenant Matters, including tenancy agreements, inspections, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and competence in using property management and office software.
- Relevant experience in a lettings or estate agency environment is highly beneficial; professional qualifications (e.g., ARLA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a valid driving license and be comfortable working on-site in Sidmouth, occasionally visiting properties in the local area.
