Role Description

The Lettings Negotiator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Frome. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Arranging and conducting property viewings
  • Managing inquiries across phone, email, and in person
  • Negotiating tenancy terms

The Lettings Negotiator will assist with property marketing, maintain accurate records and listings, and coordinate with colleagues and external partners to ensure compliance and timely completion of lettings activities. The position requires consistent on-site presence to provide responsive customer service and local market knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of landlord/tenant matters, including tenancy agreements and basic lettings legislation.
  • Knowledge of estate agency practices and residential lettings processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience or aptitude in property management and coordination of maintenance or inspections.
  • Proven customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism and problem-solving.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
  • Comfortable using property software, CRM systems, email, and standard office applications.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for attending property viewings and appointments.
  • Previous experience in lettings, real estate, or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
