About the Role
As a Lettings Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the use of our school facilities by the local community. Acting as the on-site representative during bookings, you will help ensure our facilities are welcoming, safe, and professionally managed.
This is a flexible, customer-facing role where no two shifts will be exactly the same. You will:
- Welcome and support hirers
- Prepare and secure the site
- Oversee bookings
- Respond to any issues that arise
- Ensure school procedures are followed throughout each letting
You will also help manage booking information, maintain accurate records, and support the smooth running of refreshments and other lettings-related activities.
Key Requirements
This role would suit someone who is:
- Reliable
- Organised
- Confident working independently
As bookings mainly take place outside the school day, you will need to be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends depending on the lettings schedule.
About You
- Have experience in a customer-facing role
- Are friendly, professional, and confident dealing with a range of people
- Are organised and comfortable managing bookings and records
- Can work independently and respond calmly to on-site issues
- Understand the importance of health and safety, safeguarding, and site security
- Are confident using email and online systems
- Are reliable and flexible, with availability for evening and weekend work
