Lettings Property Manager Role

If you enjoy front-end lettings but also want the satisfaction of managing tenancies beyond move-in, this Lettings Property Manager role offers the best of both.

Harte Recruitment is working with a lovely independent residential property business in North Manchester who are looking to appoint an experienced Lettings Property Manager. You'll be the trusted point of contact for landlords and tenants, managing the tenancy journey from move-in through to day-to-day property management.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering an outstanding customer experience within a supportive, close-knit team.

The Package:

  • Generous holiday allowance: 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays
  • A genuinely supportive and inclusive working environment, with flexibility around important cultural and religious holidays where possible
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, winter early finishes at 2pm/3pm
  • Up to £30k basic plus Performance Related Quarterly Bonus, OTE £32k+
  • Genuine career progression within a growing independent business

The Lettings Property Manager Role:

  • Booking in viewings and carrying them out
  • Manage a residential portfolio from tenant move-in through to tenancy end
  • Build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, providing an outstanding customer experience
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and contractor appointments and carry out routine inspections
  • Manage landlord communication and activity
  • Keep property records accurate and up to date using property management software
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure all documentation and the wider property portfolio remain fully compliant with current lettings legislation

The Person:

  • Previous experience within residential lettings and property management (essential)
  • Enjoys balancing front-end lettings with portfolio management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Proactive, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service
  • ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential
