Role Description
The Level 1 / UEFA C Football Coach – Chesham role is a part-time, on-site position. The coach will plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate training sessions aligned with the organisation’s player-centred philosophy.

- Leading small-group and team practices
- Providing individual feedback
- Supporting players’ technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development
- Collaborating with grassroots club partners
- Maintaining clear communication with players and caregivers
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment
- Session reporting
- Attendance tracking
- Ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance coaching standards
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Football Coaching and general Coaching, with a strong understanding of player development principles.
- Solid knowledge of Football, including game intelligence, technical skills, and modern coaching methodologies.
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to players and caregivers.
- Experience in Training delivery, including planning, executing, and reviewing structured football sessions.
- FA Level 1 or UEFA C coaching qualification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience working with children and young people in a sporting or educational setting, with an inclusive and safeguarding-focused approach.
- Understanding of health and safety and safeguarding best practices; current first aid and safeguarding certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel locally as required.
