Company Description

Football Focused Excellence LTD, founded in 2018, is dedicated to helping players maximise their potential through high-quality, additional football coaching. The organisation delivers engaging, player-centred sessions that build technical ability, confidence, game intelligence, and a lasting love for the sport. Players of all abilities can enhance their skills in a fun, positive, and challenging environment. In partnership with local grassroots clubs, Football Focused Excellence strengthens coaching pathways and supports holistic player development. The team is committed to developing better players, building confidence, and inspiring passion for football on and off the pitch.

Role Description

The Level 1 / UEFA C Football Coach – Chesham role is a part-time, on-site position. The coach will plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate training sessions aligned with the organisation’s player-centred philosophy.

  • Leading small-group and team practices
  • Providing individual feedback
  • Supporting players’ technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development
  • Collaborating with grassroots club partners
  • Maintaining clear communication with players and caregivers
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment
  • Session reporting
  • Attendance tracking
  • Ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance coaching standards

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in Football Coaching and general Coaching, with a strong understanding of player development principles.
  • Solid knowledge of Football, including game intelligence, technical skills, and modern coaching methodologies.
  • Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to players and caregivers.
  • Experience in Training delivery, including planning, executing, and reviewing structured football sessions.
  • FA Level 1 or UEFA C coaching qualification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a sporting or educational setting, with an inclusive and safeguarding-focused approach.
  • Understanding of health and safety and safeguarding best practices; current first aid and safeguarding certifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel locally as required.
