Level 2 Qualified Early Years Practitioner: Childrens Centre Islington

GBP14.25:GBP17.00 per hour

Looking for flexibility in Early Years?

We are recruiting a Level 2 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to support a busy and welcoming Childrens Centre in Islington. This is an ad:hoc position, perfect for practitioners who want the freedom to choose their own working pattern while continuing to gain valuable Early Years experience.

Whether you are looking for a few shifts a week or occasional work around other commitments, this role offers genuine flexibility.

Your day-to-day duties

  • Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development
  • Assisting with indoor and outdoor play activities
  • Helping to maintain a safe and engaging environment
  • Supporting meal times, routines, and transitions
  • Working closely with senior practitioners and the wider Early Years team
  • Encouraging children's confidence, independence, and social skills

We're looking for someone who

  • Holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification
  • Has previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or children's centre
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
  • Enjoys building positive relationships with children and families
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
