Level 2 Learning Support Assistant – Approximately 30 Hours (TBC)
Location: Pinfold Street Primary School

About the Role
We are seeking a committed Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to work alongside teachers, ensuring pupils achieve their learning goals while fostering independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
The role includes:
- Supporting pupils at key points during the school day
- Potentially assisting with an after-school club
- Delivering phonics sessions and targeted interventions
- Implementing levant training provided by the school
Ideal candidates will support children of all abilities and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment.

Requirements
To be considered, you should:
- Hold an appropriate Level 2 qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
- Have GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Have experience working with children of all abilities in a primary school setting
- Demonstrate initiative and proactive problem-solving
- Be able to positively reinforce learning goals (both academic and social/emotional)
- Have technological confidence (ability to use IT aids for learning)
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about learning
- Work effectively as a part of a collaborative team
- Fully support and follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Feel comfortable engaging with children across all year groups
