About the Role

Five Education is supporting multiple early years settings across Bristol and Bath, seeking qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Practitioners for permanent or temporary positions across nurseries, preschools, and other EYFS-providing environments.

These settings prioritise high-quality early education and care, fostering safe, engaging, and nurturing spaces for children’s learning, exploration, and development.


Key Responsibilities

As a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, your role will include:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Planning, delivering, and assessing age-appropriate activities
  • Observing, documenting, and evaluating children’s progress
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Supporting social, emotional, and physical development
  • Helping prepare children for transition to school

About You

Requirements

✅ A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential) ✅ Good understanding of the EYFS framework ✅ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment ✅ Enthusiastic approach to caring for young children ✅ Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Essential Vetting Criteria

  • Right to work in the UK (Five Education cannot sponsor visas).
  • Two recent paुगेट reference (within 2 years).
  • Current non-voluntary DBS check (registered on Update Service) or willingness to apply:
    • If new: Five Education will offer an application (validated in 3.5 weeks), with your cost upfront (£62.70, refundable after 20 days of employment).
