Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.

Location: Chippenham

Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)

The Setting

We are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery based in Chippenham, dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care for children aged 0-5 years. The nursery offers a calm, stimulating environment inspired by play-based, child-led learning principles.

With bright, well-resourced indoor rooms and beautiful outdoor spaces, children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and grow at their own pace.

The setting prides itself on its warm, inclusive atmosphere, where strong relationships between staff, children, and families help every child to feel valued, supported, and confident.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join this dedicated and passionate team. You will help deliver inspiring learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early years education and enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive, community-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Ensure children's safety and wellbeing are always prioritised
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children with additional needs where appropriate

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
