Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Granta Park, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Pay: up to £31,075 per Annum based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Flexible shifts between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday - 40 hours over 4 full days OR 37.5 hours over 3 full days & 2 half days.

About Our Nursery
The Old Station Nursery Granta Park is a premium nursery offering four extra learning enhancements for our children; these are Organic growing, Cookery and Language lessons; all delivered in a Montessori inspired way which encourages practical learning at each child’s unique pace.The nursery is located in Granta Park, conveniently located just 5 minutes from M11/A505 junction with quick access to central Cambridge with ample parking. It is a truly unique setting with an onsite Nuffield Health Gym and Restaurant that our team benefit from a 50% discount! As well as beautiful local nature walks to enjoy on your lunchbreak. Own transport is required due to the Nursery being located on the Science Business Park, offering plenty of free on-site parking. Our Nursery is also commutable by the local no.13 bus and Granta Park commuter buses travelling to Cambridge and Whittlesford (further information below)
Granta Park provides a fleet of commuter bus services, one from Cambridge Train Station with stops at Hills Road and Addenbrookes Hospital, and Whittlesford Parkway Station. Local bus route available is No.13 Bus which is the local bus route to Great Abington Village (approx. 15 min walk to our Nursery) stopping at: Cambridge, Addenbrookes, Great Abington, Linton, Horseheath and Haverhill.

What Your Role Involves
As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care. Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
