About the Role

Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At The Old Station Nursery Alcester, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant, community-focused team! Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must hold:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Preferred but not mandatory

Competitive Pay

  • £27,393.60 – £27,955.20 per annum (based on experience).
  • 40-hour contracts (38–40 hours over 4 days per week).

What Your Day Could Look Like

As part of our nurturing team, you’ll:

  • Foster a warm, playful environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired.
  • Plan stimulating activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful bonds with families through open communication and progress-sharing.
  • Track and celebrate developmental milestones (e.g., Milestone Charts, parent reports).
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and high-quality care standards.
  • Mentor junior colleagues (including apprentices and volunteers) while fostering professional growth.
