Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold one of the following:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Pay & Hours
- Salary: £27,164 - £27,539 per annum (depending on experience), based on a 40-hour workweek.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time.

Little Green Rascals Children’s Day Nursery Dodsworth Hall, Millfield Lane Nether Poppleton North Yorkshire, YO26 6HR
Nursery Experience Situated in the picturesque village of Poppleton, our nursery welcomes up to 43 children into an environment that feels like a second home. We prioritise natural, locally sourced, and organic products – from meals to skincare – ensuring they are free from unnecessary additives. This aligns with Little Green Rascals’ ethos.
- Location: Central Poppleton, just 5 minutes off the A59 and York outer ring road.
- Facilities: On-site parking available.
Role Responsibilities
As part of our team, you’ll contribute to a nurturing environment by:
- Creating a warm, fun, and safe space where children can thrive.
- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitoring and celebrating children’s development milestones, keeping accurate records to share with parents.
- Supporting day-to-day nursery operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Collaborating as a team player by offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while always learning from one another.
