Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship - Cogent Hire Limited
Cogent Hire is a credit hire company, and we are looking for a collaborative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In the Business Administrator role you will support our teams that provide customer services, including FNOL, Vehicle Fulfilment, and Monitoring, to ensure that customers are helped to get back on the road while we arrange the repair or salvage of their vehicle. You will also assist your colleagues by handling various IT user support issues including setting up new employee portal accounts, handling help desk tickets, and assisting with connectivity issues.
Apprenticeship Summary
- Salary: £13,728 per year (based on £8.80 per hour)
- Working Week: Monday to Friday, 9am - 3.30pm (30-minute break)
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Training: Online apprenticeship training supported by experienced tutors
- Qualification: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
- Location: 2nd Floor Waitrose Distribution Centre, Eaton Avenue, Chorley, PR7 7NA
Main Duties
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support day-to-day business operations
- Perform high-accuracy data input and maintain up-to-date records
- Handle and resolve IT user support queries, escalating when necessary
- Distribute customer satisfaction surveys and manage incoming feedback responses
- Produce documentation and correspondence in line with company standards
- Work towards and achieve individual and team KPIs and SLAs
- Manage inbound and outbound calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally
- Accurately capture and update information in claims handling systems and third-party portals
- Undertake any other duties consistent with the nature of the role

Training and Development
As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:
- Study towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
- On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals.
- Regular review meetings to support progress and development.
