About the Role
Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is looking for an Early Years Educator to join our award-winning nursery, located within our Novotel Hotel, next to our Surbiton gym. Based around early education and physical activity, we offer:
- Full-day care, part-day sessions, and Pre-School provision (ages 3 months to 5 years)
- Support through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Unique wellbeing-focused care, including swimming lessons for over-3s, musically enhanced learning activities, and vibrant play spaces designed by our clever little fuzzy friends!
We provide health-focused leadership for young children while helping them achieve their best possible start in life in a fun, creative and caring environment.

- Deliver high-quality care, education and health-focused programs for children aged 3+ months to 5 years old.
- Support and build on EYFS learning goals, implementing age-appropriate activities suited to each child’s developmental needs.
- Work closely with parents/carers and other external professionals to enhance the child’s learning and development.
- Promote safety, health, and nutrition within a lively, engaging setting.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to maintain Ofsted compliance and exceptional quality care.
Requirements
To excel in this caring, fun and rapturously rewarding role, you must:
- Have** a recognized qualification at least to NVQ Level 3 equivalent (e.g. Diploma in Childcare and Education, NNEB or Level 3 apprenticeship in Early Years Educator status).**
- Have (preferred but not essential) Paediatric First Aid or Physical Activity Training qualification.
- Hold (mandatory) an Enhanced DBS Check.
