Banana Moon Day Nursery in Bishop's Stortford is excited to announce an opening for a skilled and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 0-5 years, providing high-quality care and educational support within a nurturing environment.
You will collaborate closely with other practitioners and families to develop tailored learning plans that foster each child's development. Salary: up to £29,000 - depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Work together as a team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Create and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children
- Monitor the wellbeing and development of each child, maintaining thorough observations and documentation
- Build strong relationships with parents, communicating regularly about their child's progress and experiences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment that meets health and safety regulations
- Work with nursery management to uphold policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Proven experience working with infants in a nursery setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with parents
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education for babies
- Clear and Enhanced DBS
