Banana Moon Day Nursery in Bishop's Stortford is excited to announce an opening for a skilled and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 0-5 years, providing high-quality care and educational support within a nurturing environment.

Salary: up to £29,000 - depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work together as a team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Create and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children
  • Monitor the wellbeing and development of each child, maintaining thorough observations and documentation
  • Build strong relationships with parents, communicating regularly about their child's progress and experiences
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment that meets health and safety regulations
  • Work with nursery management to uphold policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with infants in a nursery setting
  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with parents
  • Passion for providing high-quality care and education for babies
  • Clear and Enhanced DBS
