Level 3 Early Years Practitioner - Wokingham - Permanent

Location: Independent School, Wokingham

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner with a passion for delivering high-quality early education in a nurturing, nature-rich setting? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a respected independent school in Wokingham, where young children thrive through creativity, care, and outdoor learning.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children aged 4 months to 5 years, with a particular focus on the 2-5 age group. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Support children's physical, emotional, and social development
  • Build warm and effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Embrace and encourage outdoor learning in the school's acres of woodland and green space
  • Be a proactive and positive member of a collaborative early years team

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare
  • Has at least 3 years of experience working with young children, particularly aged 2-5 years
  • Has a solid understanding of the EYFS and how to apply it in practice
  • Is passionate, nurturing, and committed to helping children reach their full potential
  • Is a strong communicator and a collaborative team player
  • Is enthusiastic about working in an outdoor, natural environment
