Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) | Southall | September 2026

Location: Southall, West London

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £100-£110 per day PAYE

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term

Are you a qualified Early Years Practitioner who enjoys helping children learn through play, discovery and meaningful experiences?

Prebook Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a caring and inclusive primary school in Southall, which is looking to welcome a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to its Early Years Foundation Stage team from September 2026.

This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating positive first experiences of education and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where every child is encouraged to develop at their own pace.

The Role

Working within Nursery and Reception, you'll support children as they develop the essential skills needed for a confident transition into primary education.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Delivering engaging learning activities through structured play and exploration.
  • Supporting children's early literacy, numeracy and communication development.
  • Helping to create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged.
  • Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
  • Observing children's progress and contributing to assessment and planning.
  • Preparing stimulating learning resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, independence and strong social skills.
  • Following safeguarding procedures and helping to maintain a safe, nurturing setting.

About You

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
  • A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues and families.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a supportive team.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
