Early Years Opportunity in a Thriving Hayes Primary School
Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner looking to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives? A welcoming and well-established primary school in Hayes is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their EYFS team from September 2026.
In this role, you’ll work within a supportive and stimulating environment where children’s curiosities and development are prioritised. The school is dedicated to providing top-tier support to both pupils and staff, fostering an ideal space for professional growth.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children across Nursery and Reception, helping them develop the essential skills and confidence for future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver play-based and structured learning activities tailored to young learners
- Assist teachers in implementing an engaging and stimulating EYFS curriculum
- Foster communication, social skills, and emotional resilience in children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Work with individuals or small groups to support personalised learning targets
- Contribute to observations and learning records for continuous development tracking
- Promote independence and positive behaviour throughout the day
- Adhere to safeguarding and welfare procedures to ensure children’s wellbeing

Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related field
- Bring hands-on experience working in an EYFS or nursery setting
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
- Be empathic, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young children
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- thrive in a team-oriented environment with initiative and proactive problem-solving
- Hold an Enhanced DBS (update service) or be eligible to obtain one
