Randstad Education is currently seeking passionate, qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistants to join our busy supply team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across various early years settings on a highly flexible, day:to:day, or short:term basis.

Key requirements

To be considered for this qualified early years supply role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Essential UK Experience: You must have recent, hands:on experience working within a UK nursery, pre:school, or primary school EYFS setting.
  • Level 3 Qualification: A fully recognised UK Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).
  • Knowledge of the EYFS: A thorough, practical understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and how to plan and support child:led play.
  • Safeguarding Compliance: A valid, enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check through Randstad).
  • Excellent Communication: A warm, proactive, and positive attitude, alongside the ability to build quick rapport with children, staff, and parents alike.
