Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant

Are you an energetic and devoted teaching assistant specialising in primary education in the Northumberland?

Person Specification

Minimum Essential Requirements

Right to work in the UK Minimum of 2 references Enhanced DBS clearance

Experience/Qualifications

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification - Degree Experience working in a primary school

Duties And Responsibilities

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils. To implement the daily routine When directed, plan and implement age-appropriate activities, in conjunction with other staff Assisting children in personal/intimate care Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher Liaise with parents/carers of children, only when directed by a school’s class teacher Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times. To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
