About the Role
Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Level 3)
Grade: Grade 5, Scale Points 7-11 Contract: 39 weeks Employment Location: Brockmoor Primary School or Brierley Hill Primary School (depending on experience and federation needs)
About the Level 3 Role
This position operates at a level where staff support teaching teams with autonomy under guidance. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is required, and the role requires specialist skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with individuals or groups to implement agreed learning programmes.
- Support teachers in developing pupils' education, providing specialist skills or knowledge where applicable.
- Assist with the full planning cycle, including designing learning activities.
- Supervise students when teachers are temporarily absent.
