LGV 2 Driver
LGV 2 Driver – Food Waste
Location: Cannock/South Staffs
Hours:
- Cannock: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week)
- South Staffs: Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Salary £16.03 per hour
About the Role
Working as part of a crew, you will:
- Drive LGV waste collection vehicles
- Collect and empty bins and boxes from householders
- Carry out street cleansing activities, such as sweeping, litter picking, or similar
This role suits those who enjoy working independently, leading teams, and operating outdoors while actively improving local environments and communities.

Requirements
- Class 2 driving license (mandatory)
- Experience or knowledge of digital tachographs (required)
- Driver CPC (an advantage but not mandatory)
- Personal attributes:
- Conscientious, reliable, and resilient
- Flexible, with the ability to work well within a team
- Passionate about public service
- Physically fit and robust for outdoor work and manual handling tasks
